As November arrives, so does colder weather and the clocks fall back. Both of these circumstances are positive for the study of music.  It results in more time spent indoors, which gives more  to practice, and ultimately leads to having more fun learning your musical instrument.

Halloween (even if it was a wet one) is past, so we can bring out the Christmas music, for those of us who like those Christmas melodies and yes, this allows us yet another reason to play our instruments. By the way we have just received a large shipment of Christmas music, so come on down and check it out.

Our Christmas Recital will be held on Sunday December 15,2013 from 2:30 to 4:30 at St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church. If you are interested in performing, please talk to your teacher asap. We look forward to another great recital in December.

The store is also stocked up for the Christmas rush, with lots of guitars, amps, strings and accessories of all sorts. All conveniently located right here in lovely Ingersoll.

In other news, Ken Archer, our beloved guitar instructor, is back from a tour playing in Belgium from September 10/13  to September 30/13.  His band, Doghouse Rose , is easy to find on the internet. www.doghouserose.com‎  They also toured in Alberta from July 1/13 to July 20/13 during the Calgary Stampede. Ken would like to welcome back any of his students who stopped lessons during the summer when he was away and haven’t re-started again. Give him a call at 519-485-1213  or send a e-mail to info@ingersollmusicacademy.com
